Pain Struggle

I have been dealing with a muscle spasm in my right buttocks since early May.  Apparently it is pressing on a nerve and I am beside myself with constant pain.  It is limiting me in everything I do standing up.  I think it developed from overuse of my left hip/quad while trying to build up the muscle. The right side tried to compensate and it still thinks it needs to contract constantly.

I AM SO FRUSTRATED and DEVASTATED about this!!!  I feel as though all the progress I was making with the recovery and reconditioning of my legs after 2 hip replacements has simply gone down the tubes.  My vegetable and flower gardens call to me, but I am just doing the bare minimum with them.  I don't know how I am going to do much harvesting, let alone any freezing.

At Paul Cormier's suggestion I have been to Chiropractor, Chuck Sidell, 2 times.  He has given me stretching exercises, but they are some that I already have been doing.  He advised heat before and cold after, with 3 sessions a day.  He also used the impactor/activator device in several places on me, but there has been no improvement...not that I expected any so soon.  If I could just break the cycle of spasm...

Chuck also mentioned using the cool laser on me, so I hope that happens soon because I am so desperate!
